Some new Pics of my N.A.R.T. Inspired Tailor Made 812GTS…Loving this car! The 250 GTO chassis no. 3387GT, was the second car built, Imported to the United States by Luigi Chinetti. First in class and second overall at the 1962 12 Hours of Sebring with Phil Hill as co-driver. Entered by N.A.R.T. in the Le Mans race of 1962, this 812GTS has the same polished aluminum wheel treatment, Dark Profundo leather, Kravet Steel Fabric Blu NART and Bianco Avus Paint scheme, as the original.
Thank you for adding to the historical discussion, of these two unique vehicles that Ferrari built. There is always much to learn. These were the facts that I based it upon, when building with Cathy at Tailor Made in NYC as the RIOTS consumed New York, just outside our showroom. To be fair I didn't elect to put a quilted leather center console, or wooden steering wheel, as advised. I feel it would have detracted from the newer cars attributes. Blu Genziana (NART Blue Metallic). was what Marcel Massini documented..so the Factory elected to build it as such. For Sure..I own 2 Ghetto Blasters Black and bazooka Green 300 Blackout, and a bazooka Green 556..best in class. Fits in the small cabin well.
Life's to short, to shoot Springfield arms, and drive a Kia Crossover...I elect to spend where needed, for reliability, power and design.
