Just found this....enjoy:D
Laugh all you want, Evos are VERY quick. Maybe it can't take a C6 ZO6, but it'll take just about anything else... It isn't exotic tho, but I guess neither is a Vette... (I know I'm gonna get **** for that one)
Me too. Notice it's the passenger giving the finger, not the driver. Obviously the driver knows he'll get his arse kicked and thus keeping his finger where it belongs -- up his butt.
Not on the stock running gear, but I've seen several of them put 500+ to the wheels on the stock block with the right turbo and fuel. Very few cars will touch that without serious goodies.
haha thats a great picture.........but if youre trying to say something directly.........IT'S ON!!! hehe, J/K. on a side note, I raced an EVO at EnglishTown, He got me off the line by 7 car lenths, we both crossed finish line heads up Evo 13.80 @ 99mph C6 13.79 @ 115mph (got the time slip somewhere to prove it) Evos are great for street fun, but they die out in the triple digits range. I would obviously MUCH rather have a c6 z06 over an evo but if you guys really think a vette would smoke a modded evo from a light you maybe need to take a trip to englishtown. I'm no expert but I was under the impression that stock c6 z06's only went 12.0 to 12.5 in the quarter mile, most lightly modded evo9's still on the stock turbo are in the 11's. From a roll is another story...
Stock Z06's run high 11's (11.8x) Lightly modded Evos are in the mid 12's Evo weight more than a Vette and the only advantage it has is the 60' times.
You have no idea whats under the hood of either car agreed, neither is exotic, but i would take the evo over the vette...evos are not american and they dont fall apart like american cars do. Once again, you cant say that you have no idea whats under either hood. Also off the line, the evo is AWD. The vette is american, so it would probably fall apart off the line. agreed, i love 2.0L turbo rally engines yeah you are right ed. Evos are terrible in the high MPH range. There was a really fast evo at Pocono last fall and it got around the turns so much faster than the rs4 but the rs4 def caught it on the straights. agreed, the modding potential of a turbo engine is huge over a NA. It takes so little to get so much. what is the weight of each car, i think the evo is lighter. I have no clue but i would guess with that massive engine the vette would be heavier. VERY VERY GOOD POINT! depends on the equipment of each car. Stock, yes, modded, depends.
3,285 lbs (EVO MR) 3,130 lbs (C6 Z06) on the Z, the frame is aluminum Evo is the best street fighter out there hands down, and for under 4K* in mods you can kill everything, and I mean EVERYTHING ..........on the street!!! Now, getting on the Highway.........thats a totally diff game. I would not want to be in an Evo @130. * there are a tons of Evo owners that are pushing 450+++rwhp!!!
umm, to say garbage is kinda harsh. Every sport car has it's own character and serves its purpose for the $$$ it costs.
Been there, done that, they're pretty stable. 150+ is another story. For that you need a Toyota rally car.
All Corvettes everywhere suck all the time. They are, however, great at throwing rocks through the windows of unsuspecting RS4s. The best thing about owning a Ferrari: all the attention from the gentler sex. The best thing about owning a Corvette: all the 50 year old guys who ask "is that one of them real new 'Z06s'?"
