How accurate are the NADA values for Ferrari's (or any other exotic for that matter)? I know that the markets shift constantly...but do the NADA guys keep up? Is there any other "blue book" type of way to determine a ferrari's value...or does one just have to study the market on their own?

Three other sources I can think: The Ferrari Market Letter and its Asking Price Index, Sports Car Market magazine, and Cavallino.

I think you have to be able to use NADA as a guide - just like you have to use the FML asking price index as a guide.

It will give you a starting point. But you have to do your research as to what they are bringing based on condition.

I recently purchased a 1992 512TR for 90k It had a few small issues so I thought that price was fair. I ended up financing a small portion of the car. I do remember the bank looking it up. And the book gave a value of 69K to 94K I was a little surprised of the broad range, but that's what the book said.

CPI is more often cited for older cars.
