    I just got an email from the ALMS about Name the Future, a contest to name the combined series debuting in 2014. Thankfully they haven't settle on ISCAR yet. Personally, I'd call it SPORTSCAR, but I think that was tried once before...

    The winner gets a trip to Sebring. Details should be on the ALMS site if you're feeling creative.

    I think they should go (back) to IMSA.

    used for years at both Sebring and Daytona, has some brand recognition and history, and IMO the coolest logo in motorsports :)

    I agree with IMSA. That way they can sanction races in Canada and Mexico too.

    also I'm pretty sure that IMSA and all the rights to the name/logo/etc were included in the sale of ALMS to GA. so it should be easy as pie to make it happen.

    no reason to reinvent the wheel, or call it "ISCAR" or something else lame or ridiculous.

    RACIST only adds one letter to rearranged ISCAR. In fact, it has same number of letters as NASCAR.

    I like IMSA but I have to say, ALMS says a lot to me and speaks of a quality, domestic series with a taste of international involvement. My opinion. . . . .
