    Another holiday weekend and another great road trip . . . I'm pretty sure someone with a sharp eye will pick this one out given the outcomes of previous "Name this Road" threads, but I never said it was going to be easy ;)

    OMG, that is simply incredible!! Were you in the car with me?? MaterMech is a close second but yes, it is Rt 1 just south of the 128 junction in Mendocino County.

    OK, we go to the bonus round. Where is this?

    Naw, just driven that section of road MANY times coming/going to the vacation pad in Fort Bragg.

    one of my fave sections of the road.

    I think Russian Gulch bridge looking southbound :) This is fun I'm going to have to come up with some pictures! Abalone diving gave me a good feel for the coast.

    Ding Ding Ding! We have another winner. It's an underside shot of the bridge accessible through the Russian Gulch State Park in Mendocino. Here's a view of the beach underneath the bridge, more open road on Rt 1 heading south, and the amazing coastline near Point Arena.

    We're lucky to live in NorCal!
