Its now been maybe 3 months since i ordered a set of exhaust manifolds from naperformance in the states for my 355...i believe the product 2b excellent quality...however my credit card was debited maybe 5/6 weeks ago and still no delivery of product...no answers for 9 days to my emails and no answer on any of the company's phone numbers and now i am doubting whether this is yet another ferrari owner's scam outfit...anyone can give me hope that my fears are wrong? testimonials on their website are meaningless to me.

NAP are a sponsor on this site. I've no idea if they have a good or bad rep but you might want to give a bit more background, fill out your profile for instance if you want people to take your complaint seriously.

    Cheers

I've never heard so much as a negative murmur about Kevin or NA Performance.

    My 2 cents.

NA Performance has a good reputation. I am sure you will be getting the productrs shortly. If not, you will defintely be contacted by Kevin. Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Do not worry though, defintely not a scam operation.

Where on the planet do you live?

Do you have access to a telephone to call NAP?

Its possible that the manifolds are stuck in a customs wharehouse somewhere

    I don't know Kevin..........

He seems friendly and respected on the board. He is usually very quick to respond. So, I'd expect an answer very soon.

I don't think it's a scam but it is a small outfit. I think it is just him. So, if he is sick or on vacation it could be an issue.

Relax, the word is now out.

He already stated that was no answer on any of their phone #'s. I do however think that the title of this thread is a bit harsh. Kevin already stated on another thread that he was behind by several weeks.

thanks for the responses...i will just have to wait and see what happens.

Amazing that I stated clearly that there was no answer to my phone calls and yet 2 responses suggested that I try calling them! Do people not know how to read?!!!

Again, you might want to fill out your profile, at least a name and location. Nobody will take an anonymous complaint seriously.

Actually if you read my post properly, I asked if you had access to a telephone.................not had you tried calling them!

If you won't tell people where on the planet you’re trying to contact them from, how can anybody realistically...

    1. Help you to find out what’s happened (customs problems, shipping issues etc.)
    2. Take your complaint seriously! Have a look through the Fchat archives at the amount of anonymous complaints and gripes aired on Fchat that turn out to be a simple mix up in communications.

To quote Seinfeld (the parking lot dude) "We ask that you bear with us during this difficult time..." This is my standard response when a client gets anxious. It makes ME fell better to tell them that.

I too had a problem with product ordered and required me to get pretty heavily heated and get my legal group involved at one point.

in the end it was made right, bu t the loss in time and aquiring product was huge...

In my case it was 2 seperate orders for 2 different thinghs. 1 being the Gruppe airboxes, which after 8 months I had enough and ordered directly for cheaper and got them in 3 weeks.

so I am not sure if Kevin is just having some issues, or what but I would say I would have to look around a bit before I ordered 1st from him.

I do believe some ogf the delays are not in his control, but his cxoommunication skills on keeping things updated need a bit of tuning.

I call to me every week, or two just to give an update would have went a long way, but I had to always call or email and I got the feeling he didnt care, as he had the money and that was it.

so I would say this.. I believe if he has the product in hand, then you get it right away, but if its a order, it might take awhile.

Seems to me that the responsibility of service and advice is squarely on the shoulders of Naperformance and that to have not heard anything regarding delivery for such a long time points to what we call the ppp service in australia, piss poor performance.

I orderered the headers on 6th of january. Kevin told me before that
the company will produce the headers after the order and it would now
take at least 8 weeks - because there a lot of orders - until I can get them.
At the moment still no problem for me. Give Kevin a chance, he's a
competent guy. I believe in Kevin.
On the 16th of February I got a email, that the headers would take
    about 4 weeks.
I think he is doing his best.
The other way it would be nice if he would take part on this
discussion - may be he is on holidays at the moment.

No, Kevin is not German. The Enzo owner claimed a German guy was driving and ran away after the wreck.

Kevin is a great guy! Ordering any sort of parts for a Ferrari can often be a long long wait.
