I'll b @ Naples V Day w an attractive friend Where's a nice fancy restaurant for dinner Preferably near 5th Ave ? Thnx
I've never been to the Ritz in Naples, but at the many others I've been to, I've always been impressed with the restaurants.
Just out of curiosity...if she weren't attractive would you have a different request Don't miss the sunset out on the beach/pier. It always seals the deal
Many good ones. Sea Salt, Campiello's. Went to a new one, Hob Knob on Saturday, very good. Also, Meredays is a new one in the marina area about a mile from 5th aveneu south off 41 south of town. Ritz food is good (had lunch there Saturday) and the sunset there is great with a bar on the beach. Can't go wrong! Scott
Better get a reservation...alot of places down here are booked solid! I run into this problem every year, you would think after a decade i would plan better..
I'm in Naples now and did a little recon on Fifth and Third yesterday. Right now it is incredibly crowded and will only get worse on the weekend. Extremely hard to find parking and the roads are really congested. With it being so busy I don't think you'll find anything remotely quiet or romantic on Fifth. However, my local knowledge did allow me to find a nice seat on Third St. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Naples Florida French Restaurants | French Provencal Cuisines, Dining | Cote d'Azur http://www.zagat.com/r/cote-dazur-north-naples Hands down # 1 restaurant in Naples..Off 5th ave!!
I may be missing something but it looks like this place is about 10 miles north of Fifth Ave like the Ritz. Probably well worth the drive but if you're starting out on Fifth and make the drive it will really be a pain to get back to Fifth and find parking.
Chef Claudio Scaduto is a friend of mine..and is responsible for the menu at over a dozen NYC restaurants..I am down there once a year and would not miss his cooking for anything.. Truly a treat! Or..Worth the drive ..
Dear God that is sweet! A sweet A$$ that does not need to bring attention to itself via the "a$$ pocket bling jeans" God bless the USA
Did the Watermark Grille in Naples with my wife & inlaws on V-day. Not sure I'd call it quite "upscale," but it was an excellent meal and quite a decent venue. Must say - some of the best scallops I've had in ages.
For next year. Tulia is the best for Italian food, I like cafe lurcat as well. Blue Provence is overrated, campiello's chef opened tulias. Naples is not known for the best restaurants.
