I am a big fan of the independant movie Napoleon Dynamite. It really captures life as a high schooler in the late 70's / early 80's. Total nerd-dome but set in today's age. Anyway for those familiar with the film what model Ferrari would Napoleon Dynamite drive? Personally I could see Napoleon driving a 246 or maybe even a TR. It would be a great juxtaposition of anti-cool (Napoleon) with ultra-cool(the car). If you think of any other interesting probabilities for a sports car, please share.

Since I am currently wearing my Vote for Pedro shirt (seriously not kidding), I think I am best qualified to answer.

A Ferrari just does not fit with him (the suit he bought for the dance was $12 & he wanted to know if the thrift store had lay away available - Thanks to the deleted scenes on the dvd).

I can see him buying his uncle's van one day. :)

This site has provided hours of entertainment for me :

I enjoy leaving phone messages to people at work that simply say :

    "Pedro offers you his protection."

Maybe he could fit some bowstaff holder onto Uncle Rico's van since he is 'pretty good with the bowstaff'. I would vote for pedro. Maybe poor Napoleon is only destined to get some SF shields for the van. Sad.... But don't you think Deb would like a sweet ride like a 308 or maybe a GT4?

GOOD...! i can tell you from personal experience that it's NOT WORTH SEEING...!!! The only POSSIBLE thing you could see, that's WORSE than this movie, is THE LADY KILLERS...!

Do yourself a favor, spend the rental money on something more useful, like a bucket of wet dirt or a hefty bag full of used diapers...

Don't like Napoleon! What? I bet you don't have the dance moves like Dqwon either. Funny how those without skills have to hate on players like Napoleon! Pedro says Vote for me and your wildest dreams will come true! Nothing like playing tetherball to pick up chicks. Only a true braveheart would attempt time travel as Napoleon tried. Cool kids would never have the life experiences of a nerd like Napoleon. Remember - Reach for the Stars!

The movie is definitely not for everyone. Some people will simply just not "get it."

The first time I saw it with my wife, I just thought it was OK. For the 2nd time around with my brother, it really all came to me. Big fan now. :)

However, having not seen the Ladykillers I can attest from my brother's retelling that it is the worst film of the decade so far.

Cheicks dig me for my awesome Chinese throwing star skills. I had to go out to work for myself because there was not enough room in my previous job where I had a small office for me to store my vast array of martial arts equipment. This thread has been very uplifting, I know I'll have a great weekend now. Chow! :)

Fourth, you are gonna learn what to drive. You think people laugh at me and Starla cruising down the road in the 348? Forget about it! (Rex)

There has been a lot of hype regarding this movie. I was looking forward to seeing it. Maybe I'm just an old man now but I really thought the movie was deplorable. One of the worst I have seen. (I've seen a lot)

I'm not saying everyone wont like it, but it is a specific type of individual that will want to tolerate the humor.

As for what N.D. would drive. I picture the the guy pushing a tire down the street with a stick and 'flippity floppity' running behind it..........WHAT? Gosh........

I liked it the second time much better then the first. Haven't decided whether I like the movie or not! I think I like it although it was not normally my type of humor. Still no Zoolander, but it had some good lines...

As for what kind of Ferrari NP would drive....not sure....but it would have to get "at least 3 feet of air". :)

I believe the answer to the original question would be:
Fiat X1/9 with Scuderia fender badges and Testarossa mirrors.

Absolutely not for everyone... For example my dad would not get it no matter how many times he saw it.

For whatever reason, younger people like it (especially teenagers). Just not sure what that says about me at 33....

First time I saw Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail I thought it was the dumbest thing I'd ever seen. Now I get it and it's one of my favorites.

    Still haven't seen ND tho.

ok this is somewhat off-topic but i would like to see ron burgandy drive a 456 while tossing his burrito out the window...i'm sure baxter would have a special dog seat in the 2+2 in the back for sure...

At 39 I love this movie. I even wore my "Vote for Pedro" to the Indy F1 race (if you can call it a race). I got about 20 comments on the shirt.

As for the car...how about one of those old BMW's that the front of the car opens up to get in. Can't think of the model right now.

    Pedro offers you his protection.
