Napster to Itunes...

Okay, so I am officially the last person on the planet to get an Ipod. Actually, its an Itouch. Anyways, I have a bunch of music on Napster (current not the old old old school one) and I would like to get that music onto my Ipod. Is the only way to do it to burn my music on to CDs and then upload them on to my Itunes? I tried just doing a basic conversion and they are protected files. Is there anyway around this?

Just though I would ask before I began the tedious task.
