Anyone have a video better than this? http://www.megavideo.com/?d=DCWX65HH Proffesional drivers racing a Dino, 365BB, 308, Miura P400SV, Countach LP400s, Lotus Europa, 911RS2.7, and Pantera.

Beautiful, looks like among other mods the air ducts were enlarged. anyone know the engine specs, induction system etc.?
Hi Matthias. If you Google his name, there is some information about Karl Oppitzhauser. You can also see that his Dino was a GTS. Here's another 246 GT at Ascoli, July 12, 1981 (Photo with courtesy of Sergio Febbraro). Image Unavailable, Please Login
It is a pitty that I never had fitted an inboard camera in my 246 when I was racing at the Modena track days at the Nürburgring. I all these years I never finished last as on the video and was able to beat some of the 308/328´s on the track. Depending on the powergap they overtake me on the straight areas and I got my position back in the corners as the 246 is better balanced. But I promise to make a video when I will go for the Touristdrive on the Ring in Summer.
I did the Google search and came up with this. See below. Can someone who might speak the same language try getting in touch with him to see if we can establish the chassis numbers of his two Dinos and see if he might have more pictures. Thanks. Mark Image Unavailable, Please Login
Another "modified" Dino. Somebody has more photos or information, or the VIN? More photos here: http://www.notbland.com/08fca.htm Image Unavailable, Please Login
DinoRegister says it's #06906 (originaly a GTS) with many parts from #03850, another GTS. The car is now in Japan (?).
Francis, can`t be #06906 nor #03850.... Can anybody from the States can identify this Dino, pictures seem to be from 2008 taken in the USA.
Seem's that Barry Watkins owned and modified several 246. Another old thread here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=254565
For the discussion one page ago if something from the original color "Giallo Senape" was left on the car I just got the first color photo from #1266 taken at the starting grid in 1971. Note the black painted bumpers, the roll cage inside and the small plexiglas advisor short before the (single) wiper.. Best Nicolai Image Unavailable, Please Login
Interesting color photo. Here's one from another angle, unfortunatelly in b&w. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for the answer we were looking for on that " hippie" Dino's color. It reminds me of the Martini 917's, mainly the Kyalami #2 car(also raced in the interseries and at Paris after being repainted from its purple color to yellow. It was an AAR rent a Porsche) . You can always count on the guys on Ferrarichat!! By the way, I am not a big Porsche fan other than their 1960's-1970's racecars. Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2012-Chicago March 2012
About car featured in post #55 in this thread : This one is indeed a fake. It is very early 246 GT s/n 00536, owned by a french guy. Olivier
Hi guys. Maybe someone on here would be able to help me. I am researching the '72 LM NART Dino for a model. And I have the Mattel Elite model too. I am wondering if someone can shed some light on the fuel tank/cell of that car. I can see on pictures that the usual fuel door on the left side is present. On some models I have seen an external race fuel door from aluminum on the right side right behind the air intake on the fender. And then the Mattel model has a fuel cell with a separate filler. So the Mattel model actually has three separate fuel doors on the same car. Is this correct and could someone show pictures from the right side of #46 or from inside the "trunk"? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you ssooooooo much. So, they had all three filler caps on them...the original door onthe left butress, the aluminum cap on the right fender and the fuel cell in the trunk with a separate filler mouth. Very interesting.
