Like the wheels, the stripe ..well it's big for sure!In the spirit of homologation for group4/B, this look is pretty cool.
15 in total. I scaled the blue stripe up 1 in from the 458 speciale NART stripe. 8 in center 3.5 white and a taper from 8-7 in on the front stripe. I used 3m vinyl and it was my first attempt. It was very easy to do.
I always wanted to take the badge off my 308 and keep it just in case it was ever in an accident as a souvenir from my first Ferrari so this was my opportunity. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice job. The white letter tires are correct for this modification. I wouldn't change a thing. What was the source for the stripes and nose badge?
Inquiring minds want to know! Or, imitation (or even only the desire to imitate) is the sincerest form of flattery. Matt
Copy away. The 3M film is on amazon in 1x5 ft rolls. 2 blue and 2 white do the job. The NART badge was on ebay from a seller in europe. He has several for sale. Just search for nart badge.
If anyone has questions on how to lay out and apply the stripes just pm me and we can chat. There is also a light blue that would look nice but i decided on the dark blue.
I like it! Now to be critical and in the most friendly way possible, go with a bronze on the wheels, On the fence bout the white letters, The roof does not need a stripe. Black out A pillars etc, And the stripes are 50% too wide for the size of car. But its your style, drive it like a Rock Star!
Spiffy! I would have gone with a narrower rally stripe, but I've never had a problem with gold wheels. Especially on cars of that era, but a friend of mine has gold Challenge wheels on his CS and they look great too.
