How much are lugnuts: A lugnut costs $1, and there are five lugnuts per tire. Since the tracks vary in length, tire changes vary, but the average cost of lugnuts for one car during the entire season is between $8,000-10,000, according to NASCAR's parts supplier Glenn Cox. A team that has four cars spends almost $40,000 a season alone on those little nuts.

We pick them up after every stop, bring them home for pit stop practice,as our 5 Cup,4 Nationwide and 1 Truck teams do 12 (6 back to back) practice stops everyday, rain or shine. How many glue ups does that come out to??
