Nasty Taco Bell experience!

If I see an employee use the restroom and not wash their hands, I'll report it to the manager. The chances of my going back there are also a lot less.

How about when I was in TCBY ? I ask for a cup of yogurt. An employee pulls the cup out of the dispenser, and waits for another employee to finish with using a machine. While she waits, she puts her fingers on her teeth, and begins to tap her teeth. She then sticks her fingers inside the cup.

 

HAHAHA!! Good one.

Dude.. everytime I eat Taco Hell I'm in the bathroom for 20 minutes so, who can blame her? hah, I always wash my hands, though.

 

LOL It was probably me.. TCBY was my first job.

Give the girl a break, I'm sure she's said "do you want whipped cream on that?" and "What kind of nuts do you want?" to guys and gotten all kinds of wonderful replies.. at least that happened to me on a daily basis. It's tough being an ice cream chickie. haha!

I was at a BK once when I saw a girl lick her fingers then try to style her bangs with them while waiting for a fresh batch of fries. She then prepared a burger, fries and chicken nuggets to my tray all with out washing her hands.

I looked at her as she forced the smile to say thank you, and said "Ok, you can now go wash your hands and re-make my entire order." She was pissed but the manager was right there as I said it and re-did the order after washing his hands and refunded my money.

 

Haha.. sad, but true.

I only really hang out with my close guy friends. I have the best manners and drink my appletinis while they drink their beer.. I'm so proper but sometimes I come out with things like that and they find it to be hilarious because it's so unexpected. haha..

 

I was in a Reuben's restaurant once. As I waited for my table at the bar, the bartender reached for some glasses hanging in an overhead rack. They slipped out of her hands and fell onto a tub of ice which she was using for preparing drinks. The glasses broke in pieces on top of the ice. She proceeded to pick the big pieces of glass out, then scooped ice right from the same tub and continued mixing drinks with it! I had to call the manager over to get her to throw the ice and drinks out and remake everything.

 

Wow! That's just crazy!!

I'm always too nice to complain about anything at restaurants but my girl friend does enough of that for the two of us and everyone else in the restaurant every time we go out to eat.

 

i worked for a large restaurant company that had in house architectural dept. needless to say after that i have a hard time eating in restaurants anymore. oh and they are high end also, not chain or short order cooks. i will refrain from posting the name as it can be construed as liable. however they are a 'specialty' in there field, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what i mean.

I like Toxic Hell... Too bad I had to hear this story... I have second thoughts about going there next time.

 

The last time we went we spent 25 minutes in the drive through from the minute we ordered the food until the time we got it! That's not even including the time we spent waiting to order.. the service was terrible.

That's not the best part, you should see her wash her paws with hot water and soap.

 

When I was in school down in San Diego, I wouldn't even venture near a place that that didn't have an "A" health inspection placard in the front window. Several years ago there was this episode of 60 Minutes or something where hidden cameras were used in restaurants and fast food places to not just monitor the cash registers but also to watch the conduct of the employees. Some of the things that they did were soooooo disgusting that I have boycotted entire chains because of it. My least favorite involved some woman who was *****ing about the health inspectors giving the establishment a hard time for no reason, all the while with her hand down the front of her pants visibly scratching her crotch as if she was trying to dislodge some lifeform that had burrowed under her skin. All on tape, and disgusting as hell.

 

My brother and I had a good friend who worked there. We were having some beers one night and the friend told me Taco Bell doesn't use "Grade A" beef, it was labeled "Grade B". I always wondered what that meant. Anybody have a clue? Eyeballs? Organs? Worse?

 

When I was in high school everyone used to joke about Taco Bell using Grade D meat. It was some mystery meat that wasn't even good enough for dog food.

here is a little story, I used to work fast food in NY, we always wore gloves. one day we had to go to PA for a week to learn about being managers and what not, one of our task was to work in a store down there for a day, so when me and the group from NY get to the store, everything was clean, but when it was time to get to work, no gloves, so we look all over no gloves and then I started asking some of the workers of the store for the gloves, they look at me like am stupid, to make a long story short NY is the only state(at that time) that required restaurants to wear gloves. no when ever I travel out of state, it makes it hard for me to eat out.
