    This July, the U.S. National convention of the International Plastic Modelers Society (IPMS) will be held here in Atlanta.

    The Nationals have been held here 4 times before (last in '93) and each time the convention was the biggest ever held in the U.S. up to that time. This one is already looking like it will be the largest plastic modeling event ever held, anywhere! (Even larger than the U.K. Nationals in Telford, which I have been to.)

    Naturally there will be plenty of classes for automotive models. It would be neat to see lots of Ferraris on the tables. And there will be a huge vendor room, with 425 tables of stuff to buy: for four days, it will be the largest "hobby shop" ever seen.
