Does anyone know how to redial a number or access the calls received or made log without having to either type the number in or do that painful search for a name?

guess I really should just figure out the voice command -is it straight forward and direct or are there 5 commands to get where you want to go?

I can't seem to get a voice command menu for phone calls. Was this something added to newer model years? My ff is the first year

we use the VR system in the FF somewhat often, and it's actually better than the one in our GMC and even the BMW. However, as we all know, the documentation for the system is crap; there is an owners manual posted on the Chrysler website with the exact unit. Think it was posted somewhere here but I'll check...

Separately, there is a "VR Setup Tutorial" on the unit itself; to some degree it trains the unit to your voice and keywords, and trains the user on the commands and logic. My wife did it and it seems to work pretty well.

Specifically, I cannot remember the command steps/logic, but I think you can hit the VR button and say "redial", or "redial last number"....you may need to say "phone".

This thread motivates me to get in the cars and try it out, like many infotainment systems, repetition helps with mastery.

I went thru the voice training but there is no link between voice commands and using the paired phone. it literally isn't even an option in the menu. maybe my car is too early on.

Same with my car, looked and searched for this. I can't redial etc. I even checked and there is no updates that bring this feature to the car?!?!

Like I told my Ferrari rep its the best car in the world minus the NAV - and no Apple Car Play won't make it any better if you have an Android, Windows, or BB :) Was really considering swapping the system out for another one but I just don't have the time or the patience to do all the research etc. Think Pioneer might make a good replacement but do you really want to start messing with Ferrari OEM etc.

With Ferraris I just use my iPhone - I plug in an iPod for music and I leave it in the car. I have a USB lighter adapter to plug my iPhone into for power and I leave it on the center console. I can then access it and I often just use Siri for voice.

Ok guys I have been Triumphant in figuring out how to use the voice dial/redial for the FF - surprisingly very accurate. Basically this is the only way to redial or to do a name lookup while driving (unless you go to your phone). Anyhow you need to make sure that that you hit TEL and then the VOICE button. It should then pull up the VOICE menu for the calling features. Works great and today I was loving the FF even more - however possible that is!

Got lucky I guess, I am an IT Nerd so its inherit to me to just press buttons and see what works or breaks hehe. I saw a picture in the manual of the VOICE menu for TEL and it had the CALL option listed. Mine never did so I kept going back and forth till it did. If you don't see the word "call" in the voice menu options then you need to repeat it again. Hit TEL and then VOICE. One weird thing is that you need to use the word "Pager" for mobile numbers. For examples I will say call "Alex Trive Pager" and it will respond "Did you mean call Alex Trive Pager? Yes/No" you say "Yes" and bang it dials. It works like a charm.
