    Finally found out why my navigation unit in my 07 599 GTB only brings up European countries.. It seems the little flash card is mislabeled.! Its labeled USA causing much frustration.! I was told by my dealer its only sold in a set with the cd for a price of 1.8K.
    The good folks at Ricambi can get it to me for 1377.00 so that's better but still too expensive.
    It had to come from the factory that way as the car only had 1380 miles on it when I bought it and it is a US spec car.
    Anyone in Europe need this card please contact me ,lol....If anyone has a better solution the spending 1.4K please let me know as I don't know where I can buy just a US flash card.
    I know the navigation isn't the best but I don't want to have a aftermarket unit on the dash either. Thanks,Kevin

    While there's nothing funny about a $1,400 mistake, I can't help but laugh at this typical factory blunder.

    Your dealer doesn't sound like much help. Have you tried contacting the factory directly, and explaining the problem? They might be open to swapping, irrespective of the location of the chip's matching CD.

    The 599's Becker nav. is so bad it isn't worth using from my experience.

    Used it a couple of times and then decided to never use it again. One of my few complaints of an otherwise spectacular machine.

    Just get a TomTom and forget about the Becker nav system (IMVHO)....
