So why are the Hawks leading by 25 after three quarters? o_O

Giannis out for the season? Did the NBA just get more interesting?

Hope it’s not needing surgery but this was nasty.
Hawks vs Suns would be a very unlikely finals.
No doubts the nba will look at more rest next year but those are just freak plays. IMO it’s also the pave of the game that makes bodies reach limits.
My money is on the 21 champion NOT repeat in 22 and I have nets/warriors/lakers for next year

Now Kawhi can have his surgery.

Suns should be the champions I think.

Patrick Beverley really is a pos. What a pathetic action he did against Chris Paul near the end of the game to get himself ejected.

Agreed but Paul had it coming. He is a really provocative guy on the court.
Beverley used to be a drug dealer in Chicago. I’d not mess with him

I'm not surprised what he did. A good friend of mine went Arkansas for undergrad and med school and I'd always bring up Beverley being a guy from his school and decent in the NBA and first thing he'd always say is how bad that guy is attitude wise and a pos.

Can't say I'm thrilled about this Finals with Bucks - Suns. Anyone that isn't a fan of those teams looking forward to this?

If Giannis plays, should be ok. Only entertainment aspect is I think it is a coin toss match-up and winner will be a team that hasn’t won since I’ve been alive.

I like the fact that it's not the usual favored team that'll win the championship.
Phoenix's big 3 will be hard to beat this year if they healthy. The Bucks without Giannis (to me) is just an ordinary team. Kinda boring to watch.
No predictions from me cause im never right.

Somewhat interesting game 1. The more interesting thing for me was finding out ESPN sideline reporters can get $5 million a year contracts from ESPN...wth. Some stupid feud between two female ESPN sideline reporters and they say one of them declined a $5 million/yr contract. Lol that is absurd.

I’m glad Nichols is out. She is always ass kissing lefraud James, who, for once, had no opinion on the subject;)
Suns in 5. Gutsy effort from giannis, jure holiday let them down to be honest. Could have been closer.
Also putting Brooke Lopez on any pick up roll action is always going to end up bad, he is super slow and unathletic (for a nba player that is)

    What feud? Link?

I actually didn't watch Game 1 because I thought Giannis was out. I did watch the last 5 min of the game though.

    Apparently a coworker taped her.
America has to calm down. Fair enough I’m not African American but what she said wasn’t that bad or worthy of dismissal.
Like Charles Barkley said it’s getting difficult for him to
Do his job can’t have any banters no more (even though THAT wasn’t banter)

She even said good things about Maria before the comment that pissed off people. This makes ESPN look bad for pinning two females (minorities in the sports world) against one another. Which they actually talked about in the recorded convo.

"So I have declined. I don’t know what their next move is, but they are feeling pressure because of…all of that, and I’m trying to figure out, like how to just…you know, my thing is, I wish Maria Taylor all the success in the world — she covers football, she covers basketball."
