    I'm near the point of replacing the OEM tires on my BMW 325xi. The best rated performance All-Season tire, by Consumer Reports, is the Falken Xiex ZE 512 but I don't know anyone who has ever used Falken tires -- they're sold by Sears and independent tire dealers.

    I got three response on the BMW forum - two thought that they were terrific and one hated them. Maybe I can get two more completely opposite opinions here on f-chat?

    I have a set on my 14" BBS wheels that came on my '91 318is. It's hard to find that size any more, thus the Falkens. No noticeable difference from the original Goodyears or the wider, lower profile Toyos that I had on it. But the car has 185K miles and I'm no longer pushing the performance envelope with it. Wear seems average.

    On my old RX-7 I had Falkens and I loved them. Nice price, good grip, and pretty good in the wet too.

    Of course they were small size (13") but they were still pretty nice.

    Also, if Tirerack sells them, you can read people's reviews on them.
