    Could anyone please point me to a source/link where I can get the specifications for a 1987 TR?

    Need info such as curb weight, turning radius, ground cleareance, dimensions, engine specs, performance numbers, etc. The sorta of info that R & T and Car & Driver display when comparing vehicles.

    This is needed for comparing specifications and performance between the 1987 TR to another vehicle for an automotive publication. The article will be accompanied by photos of both vehicles at Watkins Glen International if weather permits. Might even get the cover I've been told by the editor!!

    I have all these specs at home.........but I will not be back to NY until late Nov. when the photo shoot is scheduled.

    Want to provide the magazine with as much info in advance as I can, to help expedite the articles publication.

    Is 1987 significant? I can send you a scan of the specs page from the R&T test of June 1985 if you send me a PM with your email address. It doesn't come out clear at the resolution limit to post on FChat. I found a smaller spec chart from 1987 in "Exotic Cars #6", but it has much less information. I think I might have one or two other TR tests that would have charts, maybe not specifically from 1987.

    Thanks for the response Jeff. Yeah I think the 1987 specs may be different, even if slightly as far as drivtrain. If I am wrong......please someone out there speak up. I still would very much appreciate any of the info you have offered........My email is:

    The TR that is featured in the "Exotic Cars" magazine is a 1987 USA model (they show the VIN) and it's BHP and torque figures are exactly as shown in the charts I sent to you (380 / 354).

    I suppose the figures might be different for a non-USA model.

    Note: The TR tested by R&T in October 1989 is also shown as having 380 /354.
