Need a 348 Tool Kit

Superperformance are listing new ones at £200, should be good on present ex rate

 

I don't see any 348 tool kits on there for £200.....maybe a generic tool roll from Beta but that's not an original 348 tool kit.

I have a 355 kit I'll be listing here soon, but while it's similar to the 348, it's a bit different.

 

I was assuming it was , being in the 348 section. Not having owned a 348

Good luck finding a kit under 900 that is complete. Been looking for 7 months.

 

Ferrari tool kits for the "348" come up on ebay quite often, a recent example lists "FERRARI 355 (308 328 348 360 456 550 575 TESTAROSSA) COMPLETE TOOL KIT"

However, if the kit does NOT come with the spark plug tools (ratchet, extension, universal and spark plug socket) then it's not for the 348 (512TR and Mondial t need these as well).

Is there a month/year when the 'later' kits started?

 

I know by June 1992 they were on the vertical style....

 

Dec 1991 production for model year 1992 was still horizontal.

Did you see the thread I posted on the previous pagr? Fchatter has one for sale in the classifieds.

 

I have seen that one. After shipping/taxes its not a great deal, but the bottom line is I am uncomfortable buying an item from overseas. One will come along. I have time.

 

The missing spark plug tools seems to be a common thing with these 348 kits. I still looking for two pieces to complete mine.
