Okay guys, my buddy has a '69 camero that was smacked in the front fender. he had the car painted with centari paint back in Canda 10yrs ago during the restoration.
problem, in CA single stage has gone way of the dodo bird due to regs. he's located in OC but anyone in Socal is local enough. anybody know anyone that can work with single stage and 'apply' it? two stage is not an option.
    thanks

Single stage gone away? Not that I know of. My car, a 91 Toyata- black, has a single stage as do most white cars.

I've had my rear bumper redone twice by Network Auto Body in Hollywood (right by the Pantages theater) and it's been perfect each time. As far as I'm aware they used a single stage.

I could be wrong on that. But, the color matched peerfectly each time. No orange peel. The paint work also comes with a full warrantee for as long as he owns the car.

maybe i'm calling wrong. i call it single stage as in laquer paint, no clear coat. due to the high VOC content it has been regulated out of use. it can be purchased apperantly in small quantities, but we've yet to find a supplier who can sell it.
