    I was in Monterey last weekend and made a promise to a friend of mine that I broke! :( I was supposed to take her 10 year old son for a ride on Saturday afternoon and completely spaced it! I left them hanging! Nothing worse than a 10 year old boy looking forward to a dream ride only to be stood up! Damn!!

    This may be alot to ask someone especially since it's coming from a total stranger but ...

    Anyone with a Ferrari willing to give a 10 year old a ride in the Monterey/Seaside area? I will reciprocate with a F40 ride in Southern California or up in Monterey next year. :)

    I would if I wasn't 4hrs away, and then hit you up for the F40 when i'm in OC yet again.

    I think AllenS is out that way, Mondi T. might check with him if it doesn't pull thru...

    C'mon guys Jeff great and I'm sure we can help him out, he's help'd keep the CC show alive and hiding from IC... shhh I didn't say anythiing :D

    I could do it as well. I have a 355 F1 spider or a 360 F1. I am in the Monteray almost every week and I travel to So Cal every month for business, I could get my F40 ride then. I have never been in a F40. Pick me pick me pick me, sorry Tony I could not help myself!!

    I can't believe how many of you have offered to help! Many thanks! I will call my friend and ask her when it would be best for her son to go for a ride. I will let you guys know via PM and see if it works for any of you. Thanks to the two of you as well as to Dan who sent me a PM.

    Sounds like you have things covered. If not, PM me. I take my 355 out every weekend and would be happy to help out. No F40 ride necessary -- I make a lousy passenger.

    Thanks everyone for your offer to assist a fellow Fchatter! It's really great when total strangers are willing to take time out to do something like this. I did contact TonyC and he came through with flying colors! Thanks Tony for your generosity! As for everyone else ... say hello if you're in the area. Dan - Got your message ... just been a busy week but will touch base with you. Hope everyone is having a good (and not too hot) Labor Day weekend! :)
