Need a good criminal and/or consumer attorney in Brevard or Collier County

On May 4th, I purchased a used H2 from an individual in Naples, FL. Car was paid in full within 24 hours and I drove it back home to Melbourne Beach, FL.

A week later when I attempted to register the car, DMV at Brevard county informed me the vehicle title wasn't legal.

I contacted the seller about the problem. He assured me he'd get me the new title ASAP. A month has passed and although he claimed he already has the new title in his possesion, the guy has been giving me the run around and one lame excuse after another why he can't send it (he used the wrong zip code, he was sick, busy, traveling, his wife was sick..).

Not sure if this is a consumer related or criminal case but I need to get this resolve ASAP and hopefully teach this miserable liar a lesson so he can't do this to anyone else. Thank you so much for your help.

 

Thanks, Adam. I contacted the State Attorney's office and they referred me to the FL Highway Patrol's Bureau of Investigation and Intelligence who oversee title fraud so I've been in touch w/ them. You have PM.
