Any recommendations for installers in the DC area? I want to replace the tires on my '08 F430 and my plan was to order from Tire Rack and have the new ones installed at an independent shop. Do most use independent tire shops, or should I have this done at the dealership?

Porsche of Annapolis did my tires during my MD inspection. They did a great job and the shop manager worked at Ferrari in Pennsylvania for years. I have also heard great stuff about competitzione in Gaithersburg. I am having them do my exhaust when the weather breaks along with a service and new, less squeeky brake pads.

I had Competizione do my tires on the 430 wheels that I have on my 360. They did a great job balancing and aligning them too.

Competizione does my tires also. They buy from Radial Tire and install. So much better than buying from and having Radial install (ofter up to 3 hours). Of course, everything that Richard and Fernando do is first class.

Somewhat depends on what you mean by "DC area"...

Josh at ECS does all my stuff.
