Hey all, I accidentally broke the rectangular plastic trim ring that goes around the outer permieter of my Nakamichi CD deck in the 308. Does anyone have any ideas as to where on God's green Earth I could find another?? I've tried the obvious (calling Nak USA) but they're no help. The model is a CD-45z. Find Soundstream. At their early beginning in 84-85, Nakamichi made their car stereo decks. I had one. I do not believe it is the same ownership today as when they started, but it is remotely possible they could have some on-hand inventory of this part or may know where to direct you to possibly find it. It's a long shot but worth a try.
I pulled the Nak deck out of my 308 and it doesn't work well and won't be going back in. Mine is a 35Z but the trim piece shouldn't be any different I wouldn't think. If you want I'l take a picture with some measurements and if it looks like it'll fit you can have it.
