Need a PPI in Washington/Carlisle area

the fow price is to run it through their certified used car inspection. extremely detailed. if you don't like the price you can have them look at it on an hourly basis. that's what i did. ended up costing me $363. got everything i wanted. that did not include taking any of the motor apart or compression/leakdown. they also let me observe, ask questions. if your car is really clean and in good repair, it may not need a six hour going over. When comparing prices make sure you are comparing apples to apples. i promise you the one in atlanta is not the same as the one at fow.

 

When I was getting mine done in Washington about 4-5 years ago and did not want to use FOW, I found an independent highly recommended by the local F-car club.

I don't know if he is still in business but he had a very good rep and his shop was full of very valuable F-cars brought in by collectors for him to work on. A 2-3 hour going over revealed a few issues but his analyses were spot on and cost about 275.

 

Try Grand Touring. They're right down the street from FoW.

Actually Carlo Durante is in Tacoma, WA. He'd be an outstanding choice if the car were in the Seattle area. Ferrari of Washington however is in Washington DC.
