    Hello Friends,
When I restored the interior of my '79 308GTB I discovered that the prancer's tail is broken off of the emblem on the console. (Please remember that on the older cars, the prancer is on the console, not the ashtray.) Is a replacement emblem available? Affordable? Oh, sorry. I had a moment of insanity there. I still need the chrome prancer though...

Speaking of prancers, I was just crawling around under the front of my '78 308 GTS as I had to hang the front plate to go through state inspection. I noticed there is no prancer on the grill. Is there supposed to be on a '78??

Rick, try Ricambi, a board sponsor. They have lots of stuff. And if not, Daniel (at Ricambi) may be able to point you in the right direction.

    Cheers,
    J.

I asked this question once, as well, if I can find the thread I'll link to it. Apparently most 308s did not have prancing horses on the front grills (with the exception of Euro 308s). This makes a little sense for the USA ones, the forward bumper makes it all but invisible.

I was thinking of putting one on anyway... My car is a very nice example, but not a concourse car so I don't care that much if that one detail is "incorrect". It's stock in almost every other respect...
