Got nailed for speeding yesterday. Had a radar detector but got nailed by laser.

Can anyone recommend a good attorney?

How fast, what was the limit, and where exactly? I was able to have one dumped in Highland Park not long ago.

Can you post where so those of us in Lake County can be aware of the area?

Northbound on the Edens. He told me he was on the Lake Cook Road ramp.

Thank you. I know there is an app that alerts drivers to upcoming radar and cop locations, but I haven't looked into it. It relies on users flagging locations.

That app is "Waze" I believe.

I think WAZE is a traffic app with people entering real time traffic congestion info.

Escort's app is called ESCORT LIVE and costs $4.99 per year.

I have not used either. I think Escort Live may be a good compliment to a radar detector, but you also need laser protection, where it is legal to have it ;-)

Is a great app. It has helped me avoid several incidents. It has directions but more importantly has reports of police by other motorists.

I have had a few speeding tickets over the years. Tom Mollitor was my attorney. Lives in Winnetka, offices in Evanston. Good man for the job.

And yes, LCR and Clavey are known on-ramp locations for HP's finest. Ask me how I know!

By the way, I find them reasonable guys to deal with if you do get stopped.
