Need a Recommended Auto Transport for my new Ferrari

I have used LaMance 423-745-9603 transportation three times and Ferrari Of Atlanta use them the main advantage is that it is a dedicated move a little more expensive but others I have used are difficult to pin a delivery down on as there are multipile pick ups and drop offs involved.

 

It needs to be moved from Oklahoma City, OK to Redlands, California 92373. Please respond a.s.a.p.

Without a doubt........Horseless Carriage. They got my 365 GTC/4 form Beverly Hills to Valparaiso In ( 40 miles east of Chicago ) in 10 days for $1500.00 I couldn't imagine any better service.

 

Try Gary Almond. 240 994-1343. Great guy, very accomodating but more importantly, very careful with the car. And the prices are great.

I was very impressed with the work of Passport Transport, although they were a little vague on the delivery time up front. They did call with hours of notice of the actual delivery, but the time was quoted in a range. It took a couple of days total. I was really impressed that the driver managed to start my old Spica Alfa -- a bit of a challenge at the best of times, for those not familiar with Spica, and the car had been sitting for five months when it was picked up.

Since Passport is owned by FedEx, you might get better scheduling options if you ask for exclusive transport: http://passport.fedex.com/us/news/101703.shtml. I'd expect that it would be more expensive that way.

I doubt you'll get "air overnight" type schedules for cross-country auto transport, without using an exclusive vehicle. The only "on schedule" pickup or delivery I've seen on car transport has been the single vehicle enclosed transport that FoW uses in the mid-atlantic area.

I have a race car we just made a deal on for a vintage race customer. The car is in Redmon Washington. We bought a "package" deal with some really goods spares i.e. transmission, 6 sets of wheels, 5 bin boxes of spare parts, 2 front fenders, 2 bumpers, 2 qtr panels........
How do you handle the spares? The trans and bin boxes could probably be pallatized, but wheels and bodywork is a real issue.

Suggestions? Could you quote us to my shop in Austin TX?

Give me a call in the morning, I bet we can handle it for you. The spare parts for the most part can be put into the "attic" of the trailer and secured there for a safe ride. The bins of parts can be secured to the floor of the trailer in front of the car as well.

Have used Intercity Lines twice- perfect both times- highly recommended.

 

Exotic Auto transport is the fastest-usually no two week windows etc. Top flight auto transporters and great service. Check the internet for their contact info.

 

I have used Gary 2 times and recommend him over any other service.

 

I've used InterCity 3 times but the last two turned into exercises of "we'll pick up first of next week" then it gets delayed. A 10 day delivery period turned into 3 1/2 weeks. A buyer of a car of mine this fall went with InterCity on my recommendation but cancelled because they kept pushing the pickup window farther out. They do a great job when the delivery part gets going though..just try to get a firm pickup/delivery commitment..I might be less likely to use them next time for these reasons..

I used Intercity to move a car from Denver to Santa Barbara. They do an excellent job and the team that did my move was very professional and careful with the car. They do seem to be a little vague on pickup dates though, and the seller kept calling me and telling me he hadn't heard from them to arrange the pickup. The trick is to call them as far in advance as possible.It can be a balancing act to minimize delay/worry, but they do a great job and had very competitive prices.

Jonathan is picking up my 512TR from dallas today, he promised i would have it before Friday here in Orange County....Thats service!! Enclosed trailers 2 car max from what i understand, and prices are reasonable. Lambo of Dallas highly reccomends him, and thats good enough for me. Spoke to him on the telephone and he sounds extremely professional.
