Need a referral for elderly care in Orlando

    Hey guys..
    I know this is not the right forum for this but I couldn't think of more trusting group to ask.
    My 80-plus year old uncle lives in the Orlando area with his wife and needs a person to look in on hime a few times a week, do some chores, shopping, etc.
    Does anyone have any idea where I could look for someone trustworthy?

    Sorry, while I don't have a recommendation, I do have a word of advice.

    Be sure if/when you hire any in-home care (if) it goes through insurance, that
    you know what the policy is with regard to "Home Health Care Provider" vs. "Home
    Care".

    There is a difference and the insurance companies will take advantage of any loop
    holes with regard to paying for what amounts to an RN or physio therapist (IE: people
    whom will be touching your uncle) vs. someone who comes in just to cook, clean and
    run errands.

    There are services available which do both and if you go this route, be very careful
    to know how the company is licensed.
