Need advice on 79 308 “CALVIS” hosing replacement.

    Hey Guys, I could you your expertise on replacing all the CALVIS hosing I my 79 308GTB.

    While in the midst of replacing ALL the hosing (vacuum-coolant-etc.), it was suggested that I replace the CALVIS hosing too.

    OK, here’s the question:

    Did Ferrari use the same color CALVIS, on all three areas?

    1.) Along side the fire wall as to vent between fuel cells.

    2.)The overspill from the drivers side fuel cell.

    3.)The overspill from the coolant reservoir.


    Was the CALVIS hosing all the same color, which is a greenish-bluing color?

    The reason I ask is because my existing hosing looks brown everywhere except where the coolant reservoir. I would like this to look original, for possible show purposes.

    I believe that's "CAVIS", not "CALVIS".

    Hi
    It starts out as greenish-blue, eventually ages to other colours over time. The hose I used in all 3 places was the same colour as per my mechanic (who I fully trust on matters of authenticity for my 308GT4)
