    Hi,

I could sure use a bit of help in fixing my center console switches--some previous owner made a mess!

The Fan Switch is a non-Ferrari part and quite broken. Should this be a 2 or 3 position switch? Is it off/on or off/low/high? (Got an extra switch to sell?)

The Hazard Switch is a 3 position switch (shouldn't it be a 2 position switch?), and only works when the ignition is on (shouldn't it work with the ignition off?)!

The Wiper Speed Switch is a 2 position switch (is that correct?), but doesn't seem to change the speed of the wipers. Maybe a loose wire should go here?

The Antenna Switch is a non-Ferrari part (looks similar but black plastic center instead of chrome), 3 position which springs to the center. It works fine and must have been from an Alfa or Fiat as the round knob would fit on.

There are a couple loose wires that look like they should go to switches!
Like I said, quite a mess!

Could you take a photo or two of the underside of the switches, showing which wires go to which terminals? That would be a fantastic help! I looked at the wiring diagram which gives some clues as to the wire colors but not which terminals they go to, and I'm happy to avoid shorting something!

The off position supposed to be towards the front of the car, correct?

My posting earlier in the week was concerning finding switches, a knob, and the switch plate.

Thank you very much for any help in unscrambling this!

Wow, sounds like a mess, but as for the wiper speed switch... it might be working, but you may not be tuned into the difference between the two speeds, "SLOW" is only differentially less so than "SLOWER". ;)

I have the console out of my car, an '84 308 gts. I removed it from the car intact. Of course the wiring harness is still in the car but all the bottom side of the switches are visible. I can take a few photos of it and send them to you but I'm leaving for Monterey shortly and won't be back until Monday. Let me know if you will still need them. If so, I could send them on Monday/Tuesday.

Turns out these switches ARE made by Lucas!

Anyone want to snap a few shots of the underside of the console switch panel showing the wiring and the switches this weekend? Thanks!

Bigtex; yes, I'd appreciate a copy, and Lou I would appreciate the photos too.
