    I'm going to the Maroon 5 concert on 4/3. I've never been to the Verizon Center. Looking for recommendations for parking, place to eat nearby etc. I'll be with my 13 year old daughter so trying to keep things fairly family friendly although a good bar recommendation will also work. I'll be driving in from Ashburn.

    Plenty of entertainment in the area...most are family friendly with a few exceptions.

    Carmines, Jaleo, Rosa, District Chophouse and Sei are all excellent restos within a block of the Verizon Center.

    There are plenty of garages around the Verizon Center for parking, sometimes you can find a street spot as well. I used to have season tickets for the CAPS 2 years removed, so not sure of parking prices, but generally $20 got you a spot.

    As already stated, plenty of good restaurants around.

    You can use Metro, on street parking and many parking garages around it. If you're taking 66 in be prepaired for alot of traffic inside the beltway.

    the main parking lot entrance is on 6th St (backside) of Verizon Center.
