I have an unusual request. To make the long story short recently I had a bad experience with E-bay seller and received slightly damaged 1:12 Enzo by Kyosho. Among other things I am missing the "Ferrari" sign from the back hood and the metal piece that keeps the same hood open.
I was wondering ( I know there are a lot of people here that customize their models) if you can suggest any web sites, shops, etc I can get spare parts from.
Your help and advices are will be much appreciated.

I don't know any shops who sells spare parts for your Enzo, but I'm pretty sure if you write to Kyosho they will send you the parts - without any costs...!

Always use eBay with caution. It is true you can find some items there for less money as the vendors tend not to have physical locations and work on slimmer margins. BUT when something goes wrong, a parcel goes missing, arrives damaged, is not as described, etc. etc. you are faced with few and tough options. In my 20 years I cannot tell you how many horror stories I have heard.

In any case Kyosho USA can probably order the part(s) for you from Japan but it will take some time to get.

Thanks for all the replys guys. I did open a claim-both with Paypal and Amex. Turns out because I did it with both -now the only valid is the one with Amex. Well...Lesson learned. Bottom line is the item wasn't even close to the describtion :-(.
Anyway--looks like Monday I will contact Kyosho USA. If things don't work out--Lucky--you are my back-up plan.

How did you ever make out with contacting Kyosho for help / parts ? If you were successfull I would mind the detail info.

As far as the photo-etch metal like emblems. Well on ebay there are a few sellers selling this type of item for different models of ferrari's and porsches etc etc etc.

Yes they are in scale 1:24 BUT you will very likely find on one of the different ferrari sheets an emblem that messures up perfectly etc. Best to buy 1 of each ferrari sheets covering each model. The sheets say 1:24 but there are so many different sizes of the Ferrari word etc on them.

worked for me for my kyosho 1:12 and 1:18 F40's. best priced seller on ebay modelkit-fr

    Hi,
I called Kyosho, but they told me that they cannot send me the part. I spoke with few retailers from New England and Florida and....nothing. I still haven't found the part...

Stephane (ScaleDetails) is pure class on eBay. Always on top of it. I have bought several items from him for my 1:12 250 GTO for a future detailing project. Still need a few more things though. I'll get them eventually.
