    well it turns out my 612 did not have the iPod adapter factory installed. I was able to get in touch with the Bose engineer who designed the system and gave me the part number from Ferrari to get it installed. Had my local audio shop install it but I need the firmware update now (apparently a proxi file the you load through the Bose USB port). My closest dealer is 3 hours away. Anyone wanna help a guy get the file to load? It's like a 10 second process but I need that file to tell the Bose that the iPod option is installed. Can anyone keep me from having to spend an entire day getting this done??? Please please please! PMs welcomed. I don't mind paying the 90 bucks for what my dealer would charge it's just a matter of a time waste.

    The engineer can give you a part number but not a file?
    It is longer then 10 sec the download process is a pain.
