Need diameter dimension of OEM Fire extinguisher

    Just bought a set of NOS OEM Fire extinguisher brackets for my 360. Don't have the bag/sleeve or extinguisher yet, but I saw in another thread that the OEM extinguisher was 4.2" in diameter; current Halons are 4.3".

    I happen to have a Halon of that size, and there's no way the bracket straps come close to closing on that diameter. Can't even hook the latch.

    So, either the thread on the extinguisher diameter was in error, or my expensive OEM brackets are not genuine.

    Bump; also just heard that there might have been 3 different sizes of OEM Fire extinguishers????

    Sorry for the impatience, but I have a limited window to return these brackets for refund. Someone, please, just post the diameter of your Ferrari OEM extinguisher. Thanks!!!!

    My 2008 measures 4.53" bare and 4.69" in the bag.

    Wow, even larger than the previous post and current Halon/Halotrons. No way these brackets would accommodate that; these are going back for credit. Thanks for the reply
