I'm about to buy an Enzo. I noticed sitting in the passenger seat you can actually see the steering post through the top side of dashdoard of the drivers side is that correct or something wrong?

Since this a holiday weekend in the states - some users are out and about. Is it in Vegas?

dont worry about being able to see through the steering column. Remeber when you could see the bare carbon fiber on the racing shels in an F40? same thing. Some people think "problems" like that should make the car cheaper or are unnecessary, but its the fact that a Ferrari can have problems like that (i.e. 1000 miles on an Enzo clutch, constant mechanical problems, dash leather shrinking in a Testarossa, etc. etc) and people still love them that it costs so much. Its difficult to say but I think you guys know what i mean. Congratulations on an Enzo!(218mph)

    Scooter...

First, congratulations... You must be very excited...

When you say steering post, are you referring to the mechanical guts behind the steering column and under the dashboard (like where the arrow is pointing in the picture below)...? If so, yes, that's normal... A lot was done (and not done) to save as much weight as possible with the Enzo... You can see a lot of "guts" down behind the gas and brake pedals as well... This is normal...

Also, I've not heard about anyone needing to replace an Enzo clutch after 1,000 miles, so......

Scooter, Simon's right... Also, I'm very interested to know at which Enzo you're looking... Could you tell us the serial number...?

Oh, good - that should be of some assistance. Perhaps there are some on West Coast who may be able to assist you in this endeavour.
