NE1 here have any experiences with SPECIALTY CAR CRAFT on La Cienega? I was involved in an accident yesterday. My Dino needs a new front end. My accident happened right in front of the owner of SPECIALTY CAR CRAFT. He's a nice guy and offered to store my car at his shop over the weekend. I went to see his shop and it has a number of Fcars (456, 355, 550) and Elises and a Porsche Boxster amongst other cars. The shop that has been taking care of my car has been annoying me lately. Little things like installing window switches upside down. Window felt bunched up. Swapping gauges without my consent and not giving me the old unit. It's just an overall feeling of carelessness. They are supposed to know vintage cars and have done award winning restorations. But I wouldn't have known that by the way they treat my car. My gut feeling is that my shop knows more about Dinos than SPECIALTY CAR CRAFT. I didn't see any vintage cars there. Even though I'm sure they do great work on modern cars, I'm leaning towards taking it back to my shop and just confronting them about the issues that irk me. If I knew how to get pictures off of my cell phone, I could post pictures. Anyways, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
I know a few folks who have worked with Steve on paint, and everyone has been very happy. He did an incredible job on a pearl white Countach a while back.
