I'm a flyfishermen and closet ferrari mechanic. I will come fix his car if he has a hyde drift boat and knows where the big fish are. Just kidding sort of. This is the best reason to become a diy'er. What is the car problem?

I'm in Idaho Falls. Where is your friend located in Idaho, and what car does he need serviced?

I've been using a local imports mechanic with previous Ferrari 308 and Testarossa experience to work on my Mondial. Parts come from T-Rutlands in Georgia or Steve Harris Imports in Salt Lake, the closest official Ferrari dealer to me.

Does your offer apply to Alaska, too? 34-foot boat and 300-lb halibut?

If there is no one in the area then take the care to someone reputable as clsoe as possible. If you want to trailer it to Olympia , WA Bret of Madrona Autoworks will do a stand up job on the Major Service for you. He just did a great job on my Mondial. The car he did before my Mondial was a 355. Give him a call at 360-866-8615 you will "not" be disappointed...

Is that all??? Why not have your buddy do the work himself? All the do it yourself stuff can be found in the archives.

There are several choices in the Sweattle area...its a haul but worth it if he does not know what he is doing. Alternatively, I know of a mechanic that woudl probalby fly/drive out if he was interested in having him do this and had the facilities he needed for the job. Send me a message if you want an introduction...

I cannot possibly imagine that in a city the size of Boise there isn't a qualified mechanic.

I'm a little late to this thread but i might be able to help. A gentleman who goes by the name 82z28 on idahostreetracing.com, is most certainly the man Thor is talking about. I would highly recommend him as well, as he has always been doing high quality repairs.
