Probably less than 30 Stradale models were delivered in Canada when new. I believe the Canadian market cars got a heavier front bumper system to meet the then current 8KPH CDN bumper standard. Now the car only has to meet the 2.5 MPH USA standard so American Stradale models can be imported. CDN version is useful if it were a warranty issue but without factory warranty you are on your own anyway now. There were supply problems with replacing orig size & spec Pirelli tires which you might want to check on. The wheels are somewhat fragile and should be checked for damage.
Some cars had the factory stripe; others had the stripe added later. Maybe a 5K premium for factory stripe cars. Several low mileage USA cars around and the strength of the dollar helps. Unfortunately Canadian market cars were purchased new at a premium price when compared to the USA cars and part of that premium is still reflected in used Canadian prices. Happy hunting!

I'd suggest obtaining the CARFAX if available and using the FerrariChat Search tool with the last 6 digits of the VIN as the search term. According to Ferrari North America, the number of US version Challenge Stradale produced is 353, so the North America import total is much higher than stated 250. Good luck!

Looks OK to me. I'd assume your offer would be conditional on an inspection by Ferrari of Ontario which should cost about $600 bumper to bumper. Belt work should have been done, if not, factor in another $5K Cdn. The price sounds about right given my knowledge of the Cdn market, exchange rate + duty surcharges + transport that would apply to an equivalent US model priced at, say, $170K US. Good luck.

I think it's fair to say that $170k US is not realistic in the current US market, but perhaps the price premium in canada is worth it versus the hassle of bringing a US car into Canada.

This is the same CS that sat for months at Auto Bugatti in Quebec...

BTW, CarFax is a good start, but it doesn't always reveal everything. As others have said, a PPI is highly recommended before you open the checkbook.

Wasn't there a picture here of a 'Auto Bugatti' windshield banner on Stradale. It was at the track outside of Ottawa?
