I think he meant in the valve lifter. That can happen.

Just out of curiosity, which Mobil 1 oil do you use? is there a specific one for Ferrari's?

Might it be a problem with one of the cam variators? Is said to be a common problem with the 360. I believe that there was a recall campaigne at some time. Was that done?

I recall that my QP5, having similar cam variators, started to make a slight tapping noise when they started to go.

If it is a cam variator, I would suggest immediate repair, because it is said that there have been a number of engine breakdowns due to failing cam variators in the 360. Should be possible to locate by using a hose, with one end at the ear, the other end held near areas of suspect (old method, but very very effective)

I really hope this is a joke.

If you came into my shop with a internet page printout you'd be DNS from that point forward because nothing I'd tell you would ever be correct.

Take it to the/a shop and have it fixed. There is no other way and ESPECIALLY not thinking you can rev or drive it out. A few hundred metal parts in your engine and each one makes a different noise.

EDIT - Just processed the last diagnosis... You have GOT to be kidding me...
