My F430 I got a few months ago is now fully update to date on all its service and minor things sorted out. My last fluid I have not changed is the power steering, and that is because one of the power steering hoses I noticed has a minor drip on it from the top, could be the clamp, but I already said I would change both hoses from the reservoir to the pump anyway just as a precaution. One of the hoses I ordered was easy. But! the 2nd hose of course..... Places such as Ricambi and Scuderia parts says its not available anymore from Ferrari. Marenello parts said months ago it would be available in July, but now they said September. My local dealer tried too, they said July, now they are saying its not available anymore...

Does Ferrari really stop producing a part like this? Does anyone have any idea where else I can try? The part number is 196892 and sure, maybe I don't need it, but I wanted 2 new fresh hoses on there once I change the fluid. If anyone has any idea where I can look, or who may have it would be very much appreciated!

If it is leaking at the tank connection and you cannot get a hose, you could try changing the crimp on hose clip for a normal hose clip, or cut the end back and fit a short length of hose with a male/ male connector.

In a country with limited spares we get them made. From suppliers to earth moving machines (CAT, Bell...).
However, not knowing the hose in question, it might just be very cumbersome to make.

Won't part #211916 work if you cut it to length?

I would suggest a local hydrolic shop. If you bring them the line they can reuse the factory ends to replace the flex line and crip to the fittings. If you do not have a local source I can certainly help.

If its the one to the pump it has a set of bends in it.

It NLA..I need one too. So I'm just gonna make something work..I'll let you know the result..shouldn't be too difficult as it is the low pressure feed to the pump from the resiviour..

It's just a rubber hose, but bent to shape... Sure a straight one can work.. But I don't want it :(

Are you trying to create a Concours level car? Serious question.

Why not use unicoils to custom bend the hose or use make you own braided hoses. If you cannot find a new OEM hose, it might be your only option. Perfect is good but if push comes to shove functional is nice. I have heard of bending hoses using a copper tube, heating it in oven, and then slowly cooling it.

Again, if I needed this hose real bad, I would just buy a straight hose and it would do the job, or I could then go through the trouble of bending it. Remember, I can currently live without the hose. I'm still driving my car just fine. I just wanted to replace it when doing my fluid change and change both hoses any as a precautionary measure if you want to call it that.

A lot of Ferrari's parts are total garbage on the F430, like the ball joints to name just one. There are custom shops out there that produce far better parts for the car. If you insist on having an OEM hose and can't find a new one, try Exotic Recyclers for a used one.

Just an FYI, I got a brand new hose.... despite many places such as Ricambi, Scuderia car parts and local dealers saying no longer available.... Marenello cart parts in the UK said they can try to place an order for it from the factory.. I said lets try.. Maybe 3 or 4 days later they emailed me saying they received the part from the factory! days later I received it in my hands delivered fast by DHL. The hose has a production date of only around 2-3 weeks ago stamped on it! So so much for places saying no longer available....

It has taken me over 15 months to get a 430 windscreen, still rare as hens teeth

Really? that is stupid of Ferrari, the 430 is a common enough car and the windscreen is a part that can be easily damaged while driving. I hate seeing they don't make these basic things anymore.

I wound up installing my new hose finally a few weeks ago. I will say, it was a pain the in the ass to change. But its done. Its nicer than the original hose that was on there, that one was just rubber, this is rubber with like a cloth material over it, looks good. I wound up getting 2 of these. If anyone wants one, I will sell the other for $58 which is the price I paid for it. Has date stamp of August of 2022 on it.
