This may sound crazy but my problems seem to start when the headlights are switched on. Here's what happens: windows , climate control, dash lights and guages, work, then don't. The two guages in the center console are always out and get a tad brighter and work when the lights are shut off, dead when turned on. Car stalled twice and the fans stay on and the console lights are dimly lit when the car is shut off. All stops when the door is open. Have a totally confused anyone reading this? I am just writing it. Help! And that all for the input

Open your door. Unscrew the large circular connection that holds the wires going from the front of the car into the door's interior. Close the door.

Now see if you can duplicate your problem.

If the problem still exists, then remove, one by one, your relays (first in your footwell, then in needed in your front trunk) until you can no longer duplicate the problem.

At this point you should have isolated the problem to one circuit if it is a simple issue (some are complex).

Tried everything suggested and still have the problem. Checked all of the grounds and the battery connections. Ghost is getting bigger because now it happens even when the lights are off. Happens when the doors are opened also. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Disconnect your headlights entirely from the wiring harness. Your headlight motors have diodes that are known to fail.

With the headlights disconnected, see if your problem persists.
