    There is a car on Batam (off the coast of Singapore) that I'm interested in. Is anyone interested in assisting me with this transaction? I would be happy to pay someone for their time. I would need an inspection of the car and documentation, follow up of delivery to the port, etc.

    Just a heads up.

    Batam is a popular location for "fencing" stolen cars. Here are a few articles:

    Think of Batam like New Jersey - specifically the Elizabeth/Newark area!

    Not to say that your seller isn't legit, but you just have to double (or triple) check their credentials and that of the car.
