Hey guys. I purchased this tool box from a Ferrari mechanic in 2003. Has anyone seen a tool box like this? I wonder how many were made? What was the retails price?

I think it is fair to assume these are pretty rare but I may be wrong. I am thinking about selling it but would like to get more information on this so I can decide pricing. I have too many tool chests and this is too pretty for my shop. I am always worried about it getting damaged.

Any information would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    hi,

I am not sure about the value is it damaged has it scraces?
But you will get a good price for it, there is always a guy out there who would like to gets his hands on this kind of things.
Try with auction (internationally) and install a reserve price you think is right to let it go, you will be amazed about the response.

    friendly greetings,

    Alex

Ferrari has partnered with several tool suppliers, over the years...

Someone will probably give you the proper answer here as far as "vintage"....

Good luck on the sale it does look like a nice item, heavy to ship though!

Tool chest is over 700 lbs and over 6 feet tall. Each drawer can handle over 200 lbs. Anti tip safety and each drawer is notched for dividers. No scratches, it is mint. I was told you had to be a mechanic to buy this tool chest. Not sure if that is true or not.

Didn't Griot's Garage offer those back in the mid to late 90s?

They were a USAG distributor but I don't think that one was ever in their catalog!

Griot's did not offer this one.

BTW, the order of "authorized" Ferrari tool suppliers was USAG, Facom, and currently Beta.

    f355spider,
What years did USAG deal with Ferrari?
I wonder how much a tool chest like this would cost today?
