    My 308 had one of those. It's a light that plugs into the cig lighter and can be used to check out the engine or change a tire. I believe those are magnets on the back. After 85K miles the plastic pouch split. Make sure that yours is split if your car has over 85K miles or they will deduct points.

    My 1985 308 has a round connector in the dash that is below the console gauges that this style emergency light plugs into. There was also another style that plugs into the cigarette lighter location.

    As I recall, it does not plug into the lighter socket - there is a plug under the dash, below the steering wheel.

    So, this is a 308 part, not a 246 part.

    Ok, any 308 guys need this??
