    Long time reader, first time poster -
    I have been looking for an '87 3.2 cab for a long time and one just posted on ebay (item # Item number: 4604607414, VIN ZFFXC26A3). It looks insanely clean...

    As a first time buyer, I would never think of making the ebay bid. Can anyone recommend someone who can swing by and take a look for me? The ebay post says it was serviced by Tim Stanford and from reading the other Ft. Lauderdale threads I see he is among the best.

    I spoke with a gent named Graham on the phone and he was somewhat reluctant to talk about when and if a major was done. Also, the car has new leather and a new top so I hold concern the car may have been abused and they are trying to clean it up on the outside.

    Asking price is 38,900 - I think that's high. Looking for advice.

    Thanks for the number. I called him - he had good info. Sounds as though it's an OK car, but not particularly well cared for. Then again, I'm looking for a 3.2 Mondial so finding the diamond in the rough will take a while. Thanks again for your help.

    Pretty sure the car is in FT. Lauderdale. 1-800-455-5873, ask for Graham. After talking to Tim Stanford I get the feeling the car was not pampered. New paint, top, and interior. Tim didn't say in so many words, but it did not sound like a car he recommended buying.

    at $38,000 you are paying TOP TOP Dollar for a Mondial 3.2Convertible. That is close to T pricing.
    Keep on looking. All I can tell you. If this car has new paint etc. then...WALK at that price. Try to buy it under $30K if you want to be making a decent deal.

    Post the e-bay link. Would love to see this car.
