I made a wooden dowel to remove the Weber's venturi, successful on one carb. The rest won't budge. These are 36mm venturi and have been in the carbs for over 30 years and are stuck. I hope someone out there has a good solution to this problem.

Not quite sure how far you've gotten, once the secondary venturis are out, which can be interesting as the factory sometime staked the secondaries in at the top, spray the venturis with a standard penetrating oil and let them soak. Sometimes the wood will not break them free, and I had to use a metal drift. tapping at both sides to get them initially moving. If the secondaries were staked, you will need to sand/file the small burr at the top of the carb so the venturi slides out easily.
If the venturis become damaged, they are easy and inexpensive to replace. Mainly avoid damage to the main carb body casting.

    good luck!!!

I used my 12 ton press to push the dowel I made and was successful in getting the rest of the 4 venturi removed from the carbs. New 34 mm venturi installed.
