Need Help Opening Luggage compartment bonnet

    Good Day everyone....I have a year 2000 modena F1 euro spec here....I know how stupid I am....here goes my problem....the moment I off the battery master switch...I accidently close the front bonnet....(how stupid am I)so look up the owners manual and they written there there is a small lever situated under the steering column but i just can't find where the lever is...can somebody please tell me where exactly the lever is situated under my steering column or the best if you guys have some pictures to show me....but anyway thanks for reading and hopefully someone can help me out this problem......Thanks guys.....

    How did you get it open? Same way, a cable with a "T" handle under the steering column and to the left and up a bit. Keep feeling around, you will find it.

    If your car is RHD like mine, I think the cable or string might be located on the LHS.

    You are not the only one who had same mistake, I did exactly what You have done.

    It's a cable, should always work whether your battery is fully charged, or completely dead. Logically, how would Ferrari expect you to ever open it again if you engaged the kill switch?

    Yes I am from Malaysia and my modena is RHD,Anyway where about on the LHS...??

    WooHoo.... fire her up everything is back to normal.....I switch the master switch off because before that each time when we open our driver side door the F1 Pump starts pumping but just know it pumps non stop for atleast 1 minute so I've got no choice but to switch the master switch off then I accidently close the front bonnet but just know when I get to on the master switch back everything is back to normal even the F1 Pump....have you guys encounter this problem before....
