John: If you can diassemble it -- or do the masking -- I'd be glad to paint it here for you. It's all the same airbrush stuff I have here to do helmets.

Another choice would be to have these guys do it for you, since they specialize in customizing models:

I think i would be a HUGE pain to mask, looks like there is quite a bit of small chrome details, probably WAAY more than I can handle with my ADD, hehehe

I have a hard time with the patience to take my time and pull off the 6 strips of tape that come on the bases !!!

I'll look some of the models I already have and see how hard they would be to disassemble.

Do you have any 1/18s ?

Ever sent Tom anything yet ?

Glad it helped. Brian's is about the best web page out there if you're interested in building model cars. He's to models what Tom Yang is to vintage Ferraris.

you need to get on the ball, ;) then again christmas is coming up.

the little suckers are diffinately addictive.

I only want the 250, lusso, barchetta, and 166MM and then I'm done, I then have all the non-race HW currently made.
After that I will be back to adding to the ferrari books collection.

    What I have now,
    Shumi 2003
    an Enzo, F40, 360, 360 spider, 550, 355 spider, testarossa

Did you ever get it painted? I just bought one of the same model. It looks like it is mostly glued together and wouldn't be easily taken apart for repainting.
